First Family Photo

Remember Britton?? She was just a tiny little thing last time you saw her. Well, she has been busy growing and keeping her parents moving. Look at how those little legs are chunking out!

Here are a couple of the pictures we got this weekend of them as a family.

The park was a great place for pictures on Saturday. Imagine 84% humidity though ☺ Not sure why I showered before I went to take pictures...I suppose they appreciated not smelling me.

The hot, humid weather didn't bother Britton one bit. She was so happy and content.
I asked Matt if he could look at Haley without laughing for a picture and he said probably not, I love this picture of them.

I think this is my favorite family picture of the three. I adore the way Britton is looking around and soaking in her surroundings. I really wanted to grab her and run.

You would never know that I made them sit in dewy grass and go up and down a hill 400 times to get this picture.

She is precious. I want a little girl. That's all I have to say about this one.

Thanks so much Matt and Hailey for asking me take your first family photos. I had so much fun and I look forward to watching Britton grow. She is adorable!!

Something Beautiful.

I found these in the pasture by our house.

Along the fence row.

I can't believe it. He said he did, but I've never seen them before.

He told me he planted them along the fence row....

They are gorgeous.

Untouched.

The most beautiful reminder EVER.

Thanks, Dad.

An exciting opportunity.

I have been really excited to share this you. I mean, really excited about it.

This is a picture that I took...it ended up in an ad for Associates in Women's Health. Exciting, right?!

There is also a Theatre Ad that is soon to be published with another one of my pictures...I don't have a copy of it yet and the PDF file I was sent of it doesn't upload to the blogger, but if I get a copy you will be the first to know!

A special thanks to Jenny, the aunt of the two pictured above, she was my connection for the all the excitement!

Girls Day Out.

Last Sunday our church, Ebenfeld, hosted a Girls Day out.  I was asked to take a few pictures.  There weren't many who were brave enough to step in front of the camera, but I did have some! Here they are:

These were so fun to capture! Thanks ladies for asking me to take the pictures and all the other fun that I was able to participate in! Malinda has the disk and should be getting your prints to you soon! Hope you enjoy them!

Mom. Big Sister. Baby.

I was so excited to be asked to take these pictures! First of all, because Christina is one of the sweetest people I know and second, because she had faith in me to capture wonderful maternity shots when she knew that this was my first ever maternity session!

Isn't she gorgeous!? She is due any time! No kidding!

I have so many favorites from the session, but this one ranks pretty high on the list.

This is Shae...soon to be big sis. And she is pumped, let me tell you!

After I took this shot, I immediately knew I loved it....and want one for myself now with the boys. I need to learn to set up my tripod and use the timer.

Look at that belly! There's something about being pregnant that is simply beautiful.

Black and white.  I can't get enough of them.

Precious.

This little girl was SO easy to take pictures of! I didn't even have to tell her to smile...I'm sure that Nate standing behind me flirting had nothing to do with it.

Thank you Christina for asking me to take these pictures. You are absolutely gorgeous and Shae couldn't be cuter. I can't wait to meet your new addition, I'll be looking for your name on the census everyday I work!

Mona's boys...take 2!

Remember how I told you the Saturday before last I took pictures of Mona's family and it rained and poured? Well, we didn't get to the nature center for the last half of the session, so we made it this past Saturday. I am really starting to feel like part of the family...I may just show up and hang out with them this Saturday as well!

This is one of VERY few candid shots I got...they were too smart for me...always checking to see where I was with my camera. I couldn't love it more though.

This bridge was scary to say the least...especially with two guys jumping (they say swaying) up and down while trying to walk across it. The sunset behind them was definitely worth the walk across.

This guy (a.k.a Paul) is madly in love with Mona. It showed in every picture how much he adores her...so sweet. I have more mushy ones, but without Mona's approval I better saves those for her viewing ☺

Thanks again guys for hanging out with me on Saturday, the great dinner I was treated to, and not dropping me off in the middle of nowhere as I first suspected! I really hope you enjoy the pictures.
